It is almost the greatest time of the year. No, not Christmas, OCTOBER. Why is October so special?

Because it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month! That time of the year where everyone comes together like the best bra you’ve ever owned to support the boobies of women (and men) everywhere!

And the best part is, there are so many ways you can get involved!

The National Race for the Cure

Every year the people at Susan G. Komen hold the Race for the Cure and is the worlds largest and most successful fundraising event to benefit Breast Cancer research and support.

The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer

Avon will be holding a 2 day, 39 mile walk this October in both Charlotte, and New York. The money raised will support breast cancer screening for both men and women, and treatment, regardless of the patients ability to pay.

Susan G. Komen 3 day for The Cure

This is a 60 mile 3 day walk that helps the fight against breast cancer by raising money and offering a great community of survivors and supporters.

So many other ways to participate!

If you can’t join in any events for any reason there are so many other wys you can participate in Breast Cancer Awareness month. Something as simple as buying a pink ribbon pin (I like this one), click for the cure every day (and tell your friends to as well), or even hold a Pink Party, and raise money to donate to your fave breast cancer charity!

Every little thing helps, and it all adds up to something BIG!

We are holding another #HalloBoobies competition this year!!!!

Basically your mission is to give your cleavage a Halloween costume. Dress ‘em up anyway you like, (the more creative the better) and send a picture of it over to us! Either post it on your twitter and tell us by sending an @ to @boobiewed and include the hashtag #halloboobies -OR- email it to us at boobiewed@yahoo.com -OR- shoot it over to us at our Facebook page.

You can enter once a week. we will start taking entries on the 29th of September, and the comptetion will close on the 26th of October. Weekly entries will run from Thursday morning to Tuesday evening, winners will be picked on Wednesday. We will also be announcing the grand prize winner on 2nd of November.

Now, I know you’re all asking, what’s the prize? We will be giving away a weekly prize courtesy of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and we’ll also be giving away a grand prize from our very own Boobie Wednesday store!

We will accept entrants from all over the globe, but we can only ship weekly prizes to residents of the US  (sorry everyone else), but we will ship the grand prize anywhere in the world, so make sure you still submit your entries!!
